All of us take life for granted..My best friend just passed away.That opened my eyes.I realize how i have treated my life.I treated it like it meant nothing to me.Well, I'm pretty darn wrong about that.Our lives could be taken by God anytime.God put is in this world for only one purpose.That is to serve him..Instead of doing that,we live at our own desire..My best friend was diagnosed with cancer..A few months later, all of us thought that she was getting a lot better but than she died.I had a hard time accepting this..But my friends helped me a lot along the way..Thanks guys for encouraging me to move on.Especially my classmates...I knew i had to be strong..Its even harder for her family..So all of us should pray for them..!

ASIA CONFERENCE 2008
(Touching Asia, Transforming the world)
This Conference was held in Singapore at the Singapore Expo by the Cityharvest Church. The conference coasted 4.7 million dollars to organize. This was the first Asia Conference and there were 25,000 delegates from all over the world except from the continent of Antarctica. Amazing right? The conference lasted for 6 days from 19-24 of November. There were many world-renowned speakers singers such as Benny Hinn, Phil Pringle, A.R Bernard, Don Moen and Kong Hee who is the pastor and founder of cityharvest church which has more than 15,000 members. By God’s grace, this church has experienced phenomenon growth. I hope that we can work together and make our church grow as well. I have learned such a lot from this conference. It was a life transforming event. I attended the youth and praise and worship workshops. The speakers for the workshops were amazing and inspiring. I learn lots from them. There was an opening night and there were so many people that we had to queue up for an hour. Furthermore, we were only allowed to Hall 10 which is the overflow room. It was a great experience! I hope that one day we can also see thousands and thousands of people queuing up to come to our church to worship God. That is my biggest dream and I hope that we can share the same dream. I had an amazing time there. The praise and worship was led by different bands from all over the world. It was awesome! Everybody could feel the presence of God during the praise and worship. People kneeling down, crying and just praising God. I am convinced that praise and worship should be the ultimate goal for the church. Passion for God in worship precedes everything else. It is the fuel for service and it energize us. One of the conference speaker, Pastor Phil Pringle told us that when we worship we must completely surrender to God and enjoy his presence. If God manifest His presence to us during praise and worship we don’t have to stop because we feel it’s time to move on to the next thing. When we decide to break with traditional ways of doing things and allow the Holy Spirit to move, we will experience many things that our hearts ache for. During this conference, God has been really good to me. I felt His presence. I felt touched by the Holy Spirit. Never in my life have I felt this way before. I encourage all of us to attend conferences like this to be blessed and exposed to other churches. I’m very blessed to have opportunities like this to go with my parents. We have to be hungry for God’s Word. The next Asia Conference is in 2010 in June. I believe there is more to come!
